I founded Legacy, APC to help people protect their cherished treasures, provide for their families after death, and preserve their legacies. I have dedicated my entire professional career to mastering this craft.

I thrive on connecting with people. Being fluent in both English and Spanish lets me reach and serve a variety of people from all walks of life. It is my pleasure to help those people with all their estate planning, probate, and trust administration needs. My greatest reward is developing trusted life-long relationships in the process.

Most of my clients find me through word-of-mouth from someone I’ve helped in the past. Many others are referred to me by their tax, financial, insurance, or real estate advisors. These relationships are the lifeblood of my practice, and I try to help both groups in return by connecting people with my extensive network of professional contacts.

I was born in Puerto Vallarta and raised in San Diego. I graduated with double majors in Economics and Rhetoric from the University of California at Berkeley in 1998.

I received my Juris Doctor degree from the University of Southern California and passed the California Bar Exam in 2002. I am admitted to practice before all state courts in California and the U.S. District Courts for the Districts of Southern and Central California. I am a member in good standing with the California Bar and have maintained an AVVO rating of 10 since 2011.

I enjoy speaking and have conducted many private seminars and workshops. Many have been in collaboration with institutions like Northwestern Mutual, New York Life, Union Bank, HSBC Bank, First California Bank, Mass Mutual, Mutual of Omaha and numerous independent advisors and agents.

I have lectured at Thomas Jefferson School of Law. I frequently speak to senior groups on the topic of “Preventing Senior Financial Abuse,” and I regularly conduct training sessions for the County’s Adult Protective Services program.

Helping others through volunteering is important to me. In addition to serving as advisor to various business and professional groups, I serve on many local boards for non-profits and foundations. I regularly lecture on the power of mindset, goal-setting, and education at conferences for disadvantaged youth. I mentor aspiring attorneys and business owners.

As for my personal life, I am a proud father of twin girls, and I practice Yoga to still my mind and maintain vitality.
